About the instant estimate
How does the instant roofing estimate work?
You enter your address and the tool measures your roof from aerial imagery, then prices it from the options you pick. It takes a few minutes and you see a figure at the end of it.
Is the instant estimate the final price?
No. It is a genuine starting figure based on the measured area of your roof, but it cannot see everything a person standing on the roof can — decking that has gone soft, layers underneath, awkward access, flashing and venting that need attention.
The written quote that follows an on-site inspection is the one that holds. If the two differ, we explain why.
Does using the estimator commit me to anything?
Not at all. It is free, there is no obligation, and you are welcome to use the number to compare against other contractors.
What if my roof is flat, or it is a commercial building?
The estimator is built for steep-slope residential roofs. Flat and low-slope commercial systems are priced differently and really do need to be looked at — get in touch through contact or see commercial roofing.
The tool will not load. What now?
